Happy Friday! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. But, maybe you’ll forgive me because I have a freebie for you!
One step in making sure a training project is successful is asking the right questions up front. This helps make sure everyone knows what business problem you’ll be solving, how you’ll know it worked (or didn’t), keeps the content focused, etc. If you’re not prepared when going into a kickoff meeting with SME’s, you’ll be tempted to go down the rabbit hole of ‘SME: “We need to make some training. Here’s a Powerpoint – could you turn it into an eLearning course?”‘ ‘You: “Oh, ok. Yes, I can do that.”‘
With that in mind, I’ve created a really basic starter list of questions that could be helpful in your kickoff meetings. Download it, add to it, and make it your own! Select the image to download it.
Keepin’ the joy,
Patti
EXCELLENT!!! These are great questions. I wish I had a list like this when I first started my career. Educating SMEs and project owners is still a very time consuming proposition.
Thanks Jonathon! Pass ’em along. 😉
